JUNEAU, Alaska—Alaska’s attorney general has filed suit against Mercer L.L.C. seeking to recover the more than $1.8 billion it charges was lost because of Mercer’s misconduct as an actuary for its Public Employees’ Retirement System and Teachers’ Retirement System pension plans.
